Repurposed Grain Silos Turned Ceremony & Gathering Spaces

At Wildman Farm, we believe old structures deserve a second life.

When we purchased the property in 2020, two disused grain silos stood quietly on the farm. From the beginning, we saw more than storage vessels, we saw ceremony spaces.

After years of planning and hands-on work, those original silos were carefully transformed into two distinctive gazebos that now anchor our outdoor wedding and event spaces.

From Working Silos to Wedding Structures

The process was far from cosmetic.

We cleared out decades of remaining grain, removed the original bases, and thoroughly restored each structure before beginning the rebuild.

Brenton and our youngest Chris, a skilled boilermaker, welded custom metal frames to create open, functional spaces while retaining the industrial character of the silos.

Using scaffolding and a crane, each structure was lifted and secured onto reinforced cement slab foundations for long-term stability.

Doorways and windows were cut into the steel, allowing light and airflow while preserving the raw, agricultural aesthetic.

One silo retains its original cap. The second features a custom metal-framed skylight, handcrafted onsite, allowing natural light to filter through, particularly beautiful during daytime ceremonies.

Each silo gazebo offers:

• 12.5m² of sheltered space
• 4.4m diameter circular design
• Integrated power and lighting
• One standing 4.35m high
• One standing 5.22m high
