Exciting Workshop at Wildman Farm! We’re thrilled to welcome Claire Russell from Chameleon Arts to host a Basket Weaving for Beginners workshop! 🧺 Date: Saturday, 12th April 2025 Join us for a creative and relaxing afternoon at Wildman Farm, come and submerge yourself into the artisan craft of coil weaving with local artist Claire Russell of Chameleon Arts. Learning the traditional art of coil basket weaving which is a mindful and therapeutic practice that enables the participant to engage in an immersive craft while enjoying the outcome of creating a useful and sustainable finished product. Basket weaving has an ancient history in many cultures as not only an art form traditionally practiced by women for practical use in home and harvesting. All natural and sustainable fibers are used in this workshop. With the use of minimal tools, all supplied in the cost of the class, each participant will walk away with the confidence to create beautiful and useful pieces upon completion.
